Belt speed roller BSR
The BSR rollers allow to measure the belt speed of a conveyor.
Depending on the function, they can be connected to a PLC or a belt scale, either directly or via a remote BRC interface. In this case, the BRC interface transforms the pulse signal of the BSR roller into a 4-20mA / 0-10 V DC analog signal and indicates via isolated digital outputs, the running status of the conveyor belt.
Connected to its remote interface, the BSR + BRC unit provides the following functions
- Protection of persons
- Monitoring of the conveyor belt for safety and maintenance
- Control of the conveyor belt feeding rate
- Measurement of the belt speed
The design of the BSR roller range is based on the use of proven components in the bulk material handling industry, which allows the rollers to be perfectly driven by the belt.
